More Basketball

Today Brianna and I both had games today. From what Brianna said, it 

did not sound like it went well. The score was 9 - 14, they lost. It sounds like the same 

problem they always have, where the ref. does not call anything on the other team.

Well, for my basketball game, the other team, which was supposed to be Windsor Locks,

did not show up so our team did a scrimage. The team that I was on won the game, and because 

I am the tallest on the team, so I made most of the shots. The score was 33 - 18.

What a Snow Storm!

This past weakend through Monday we got nailed by a snow storm.
It dumped about 14 inches of snow. My little brother has been going
outside to play in the snow almost everyday now. I'm more of an inside
person so I have only gone out once to help snowblow.

I have a basketball game Saturday so I will keep you updated.

5 - 26 and 8 - 24

Two unfortuanate losses with Brianna's games last weekend. The first one was against Stafford on the 13th. The score was 5 - 26. I didn't go because I went to a Christmas party. I heard that the game was not good and that the refs were not calling anything on the Stafford team, so they got away with everything.

The second game was on the 14th and that was better. Brianna's team was playing in our town ( East Windsor) against Windsor Locks. I absolutally love our refs (not literally), they are so funny even in the game, and yet they are fair. They call stuff on the other team and our team, unlike other refs in other towns. Anyways the score was 8 - 24. Brianna was supposed to have a game yesterday but it was canceled due to snow.

Basketball

I finally started playing basketball today. This would be nine years of playing. Unfortunately we have some kids who just stink at basketball. One kid did not even know how to do a lay-up.
I doubt our team is going to do well, but at least it is better than nothing. I'll be posting game scores, just like Brianna's games. (wich reminds me, Brianna is at a game right now.)

18 - 6

VICTORY!! Brianna (my sister) had her first basketball game this season today. Her team was
playing against Somers, C.T., which has a pretty lousy team. It was an easy win. The last time I played basketball against Somers the score was like 55 - 6(we won). Brianna's team did good, they listened to the coach, and played well. Sorry I don't have pictures, I forgot to bring my camera.

Word of Life Teen Superbowl 2008

Two days ago was teen Superbowl 08. For those who don't know what it is, it is a national event put on by Word of Life, and a lot of churches go. Churches in the Connecticut and Massachusetts area bring teenagers to the MassMutual Civic Center in Springfield, MA. and watch a Springfield Falcons hockey game around 7:00 P.M. After the game Word of Life has a rally and gives away free items like iPods, flatscreen tvs, and Nintendo Wii systems. They also have games on the ice rank like human bowling and Tug O' War. The rally ends at about midnight and then our church (First Baptist Church of East Longmeadow) goes to Interskate 91 to have pizza and soda. We skate for three hours and then head over to Shaker Bowl to bowl for three hours. It is so much fun and usually about 2,000 people go to this event. here are some pictures:

Nothing much yet

We really haven't been doing anything lately, mostly yardwork to prepare for winter.
My sister has had a few soccer games recently. She is going into basketball this winter.
I'm still waiting for my basketball to start.

Today I just got back from the Cape. Although it rained a few days we had a good time just relaxing. We went to the beach a couple of times, but the water was freezing.
